Still on that Journey - Cyril Axelrod
Autobiography: Cyril Axelrod CSsR
Editor: Larry Kauffman, CSsR
A follow-up to his 2005 memoir And the Journey Begins.
Fr Axelrod was born deaf and from the 1990s progessively lost his sight, resulting in total blindness in 2001. He now lives on his own in London.
"Cyril believes that his disability is a gift and that we all have different gifts and abilities and can all learn from each other. He won't let anything get in the way of achieving what he wants, and when he told me that he wanted to climb Machu Picchu, I knew that he meant it. Cyril's determination stemmed from his wish to show the world that if he could achieve this dream, it would inspire others to achieve their own dreams"
