Fire in the Heart - Catholic Activists in the Age of Apartheid

Edited by Brigid Rose Tiernan SND

A collection of profiles of heroic Catholic Activists who stood against Apartheid in the years of oppression.   It seeks to capture for posterity the essence of what moved these individuals to stand up for truth and justice during Apartheid rule in South Africa.  It is a project of Sisters for Justice, a group of women religious from several congregations who came together in the 1980s, and a few interested laypersons.
