As a young woman, Cecilia was promised in marriage to a non-Christian. On her wedding day, she sang to the Lord. He gave Saint Cecilia the courage she needed to live and share her faith with others. Jesus was in her heart, like a happy song that never ends. Eventually Cecilia brought her husband and many others to the Christian faith by her prayerful life and acts of charity.
