Vanstone was inspired to write Icons of the Passion when he saw Wrigley’s moving woodcarvings on the chapel walls of the Community of St Peter at Horbury, West Yorkshire.

Full colour reproductions of the woodcarvings are set alongside Vanstone’s simple and insightful meditations on the Passion.
