St Francis of Paola was from southern Italy. He sought humility above all things. He was born in 1416; His father and mother were poor farmers, not very well educated, but wise in the ways of the Lord. He is the patron of sailors, of those suffering from epidemics, of travelers, and those seeking protection from fires. Full colour pictures throughout. Suitable for 6 - 9 yearolds.
